Today marks the 3rd year anniversary of Colony becoming an independently owned company. In fact, we turn 7 years old as a company, on May 13th this year. We will have something cool in the works for that, so keep an eye on here for details.

I would like to thank everyone & anyone that has ever supported us as a brand & especially in these last 3 years. To all the riders, bike shops, distributors, magazines & websites out there we appreciate your support. It’s been a great journey with many more years to come ahead. We couldn’t do it without you all, so thanks !!

The new 2020 BMX Magazine just dropped here in Australia & you can check out a preview below. It’s awesome to see Dane Searls on the cover & there is a really touching feature in the pages about him as well.

Colony wise, look out for Brock Olive’s double page advert with our 2012 complete bikes. There is also a feature story on a Focalpoint trip Cooper, Marnold & Zac did in Canberra. Check it !!

Tim Wood is doing a demo out at Beaudesert on the 14th of January if you’re in the area. He will also have a couple friends with him as well, namely Kyle Baldock & Clint Bensley. So get yourself along there to check out some good riding, meet the guys & for some giveaways from us here at Colony as well.

Here in Australia it has just ticked over to 2012. Thanks to everyone that has supported us in anyway! Here is a bit of a photo gallery from the past 12 months…

I had a good chilled ride with some long time mates at Fairfield park yesterday. What a good way to end out the year & what a mammoth year 2011 has been as well. Seems to have gone so fast with so much stuff happening along the way.

Thanks to everyone that has supported us over the past year, we do appreciate it. Looking forward to a great 2012 ahead & more good times on our bikes that we all love. Happy new year everyone !!

With the Facebook page passing 30,000 fans yesterday it really shows the support we have across the world which we really appreciate! So one again thanks to everyone that supports Colony in anyway! Our chief CAD designer, Mark Mathews-Frederick has been over in Germany for most of this year experiencing what europe has to offer. He is in Munich at the moment & experiencing a white Christmas. His Sect from a few years ago now is loving the snow he says… good to see our bikes can handle all kinds of weather.

Dane Searls is a legend of Australian BMX & this video really shows his spirit & determination. It’s sad we will never know what he could have done on these jumps in the years ahead. Rest in peace mate.
