How long have you been riding?

I started racing BMX when I was three years old. I did that thing for quite a few years before moving up to the big leagues. Now I’ve been shredding for about 15 years.

Mick, you are known for your love of big rails but I know recently you’ve been psyched on jibbin more?

I love my big rails and I always will. You can never beat that rush, and I love the mind battles that come with them. Technically, they’re more balls than skill so lately I’ve really been enjoying learning new skills and a whole new variety of tricks. It’s real rewarding learning something new, and I’ve been having so much fun on my bike. This is the way the sport is going and I want to be a part of it. Then, of course, I will take my new skills back to the big rails.

When you stayed in Canada where did you enjoy riding on a regular occasion?

Oh, there are so many dope spots and cool people to ride with. I would always meet up with Dylan King at Hastings Park then go up to his trails, Kush. They’re one of the most amazing places I have been to. You can do a 5 minute run before you hit the first jump. The atmosphere of the place is breathtaking. So many sick sessions went down there. I also really enjoyed riding the plaza downtown and going on mad jib sessions with Davey Struthers. Then there are always droppin hammers with JT, Sam Lowe, Andy Rude and my boy Grosser. Canada is an awesome place. If you can you should definitely check it out.

Other then riding, do you have an actual job?

HAHAHAHAHAHA… What’s that? I think I had one of those things once.
